Reception & Admin Officer

Goolwa Physio and Goolwa Exercise Physiology are seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Reception & Administration Officer to join our team in a casual position.
Our clinic operates from the Goolwa Health Co building. We are a well-established allied health clinic serving Goolwa and the wider Fleurieu Peninsula community with a strong focus on teamwork, professionalism and providing excellent care to our local community.
Our team includes 8 physiotherapists an exercise physiologist and administration staff working together within the Goolwa Health Co allied health hub.
This is a busy front desk environment and requires someone who can remain organised, friendly and efficient while managing multiple tasks.
This role is a key part of our clinic operations. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping create a welcoming and professional environment while supporting our physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and administration team.

About The Role
This role helps coordinate the day-to-day flow of the clinic and ensures our clients receive a high level of service.
Responsibilities may include:
• Greeting clients and providing a warm and professional first impression
• Managing appointment bookings and clinician diaries
• Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Processing payments including private, health fund, Medicare, DVA and other insurers
• Maintaining accurate client records within our practice management software
• Supporting clinicians with appointment recalls and re-bookings
• Assisting with general administrative tasks to support clinic operations
• Helping maintain a tidy and welcoming reception, waiting room and gym environment
Depending on the successful applicant’s experience and skills, additional administrative responsibilities may be included as part of the role.
About You

• Has strong computer skills and is comfortable working with multiple systems and browser tabs at once
• Can multi-task effectively while answering phones and assisting clients
• Communicates clearly and professionally in person, by phone and in writing
• Is a team player who enjoys contributing to a positive workplace culture
• Brings a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in medical reception, allied health, administration or customer service will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Position Details
Role: Casual Reception & Administration Officer
Location: Goolwa Health Co, Goolwa SA
Times/Days: Typical shifts may fall between Monday–Friday business hours.
Remuneration: In accordance with the Health Professionals & Support Services Award 2020, dependent on experience and duties performed.
