Why Exercise?

The benefits of being physically active are well documented. Exercise has proven to improve physical heath and function, cognitive and mental health, and social wellbeing.

Research also demonstrates that exercise can be used as medicine to prevent and manage a wide range of chronic health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, arthritis, multiple forms of cancer, persistent pain conditions, neurological conditions and mental health.
